Silence will present The Vocabulary of Madness, their first album in a decade, on November 4 at Cankarjev dom.
Last year, the duo Silence announced a new album with their new song A Moment's Song - this November, the album we waited for ten years will be presented in the premiere concert at Cankarjev dom.
As Boris Benko said for the magazine 24ur, this will be their first studio album in ten years. The Vocabulary of Madness will be the first guide to the universal, increasingly popular language: “Madness is a language we all speak fluently – especially when we don’t intend to.” Benko describes the album as a chronicle of instability, as a family album that documents our consistent contradictions and well-oiled dysfunctionality: "The album is a logical result of illogical times, a distillate of self-isolation, climate change, unsuspected peaks in the field of populism, wild conspiracy theories …”
