Based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Pekinpah is a radical dance production company representing three internationally acclaimed choreographers - Matej Kejžar, Mala Kline and Leja Jurišić - who emerged from working with Rosas, Damaged Goods, Ultima Vez, and Forced Entertainment. Signing these exceptional artists in 2010, Pekinpah has been producing, managing and promoting their performances around the world ever since.

V prvo Pekinpahovi uprizoritveni razstav, smo z združevanjem formatov sodobnih uprizoritvenih praks, razpirali večperspektivični pogled. Predstavljene so bile uprizoritvene, vizualne, glasbene in oblikovalske aktivnosti Pekinpahovih umetnikov in oblikovalcev, ki skozi različne žanre in prostorsko-časovno kontekste preslikavajo smernice nastalega, sedanjega in prihajajočega.
Since 2010, Pekinpah has been the head coordinator of SPIDER festivals across Europe. Initiated by Matej Kejžar and in collaboration with our partners, we have put together Spider (2010-2012) and Spider Expand! (2012-2014) projects and in turn organised ten international artistic events in Athens, Zagreb, Lyon, Berlin, Brussels and Ljubljana. Far from being done, we are currently in the middle of developing a new SPIDER project termed Spider Futures.
The first part of Kejžar's new trilogy, inspired by Tommasso Campanella's utopia the City of the Sun, as well as the electronic music and dance culture, Club 1 2 premiered at the June 2016 Spider festival in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
